Airways International has signed a new five-year agreement with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) for the use of its SureSelect air traffic control (ATC) candidate selection and assessment platform.
The agreement provides CAAM with access to Airways International’s suite of SureSelect ATC-specific assessments, supporting their recruitment and selection of future air traffic controllers. SureSelect helps organisations identify high potential candidates before significant investment is made in training, providing a structured and evidence-based approach to assessing the cognitive and behavioural competencies linked to successful ATC performance.
Airways International General Manager Commercial James Evans says the agreement reflects a shared commitment to securing the ATC workforce of the future in Malaysia.

The SureSelect platform is currently used by air navigation service providers across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
This new agreement with CAAM further expands Airways International’s long-standing relationship with Malaysia and reinforces its commitment to supporting the growth of aviation and air traffic management capability across the Asia Pacific region.
