Airways International welcomes air traffic services training cohort AI0424

On Monday 29 April, Airways International’s Christchurch Training Centre welcomed the latest cohort of trainees on board for our Air Traffic Services (ATS) training programme.

Of the twelve trainees in AI0424, eleven are undergoing Air Traffic Control (ATC) training, and one is undergoing Flight Service Operator (FSO) training. They will complete their training over the next 8-9 months. 

This group are kicking off their studies with 051 ATS Licensing Subjects, then moving on to 052 Aerodrome Control, 054 Area Control Surveillance, and 053 Approach Control Surveillance courses, before commencing on-the-job training.   

We wish this new cohort the best of luck with their studies and exciting futures in air traffic services.
