An advanced air traffic control training facility opened in Beirut, Lebanon this week uses pioneering simulation technology developed by Airways New Zealand.
In a milestone ceremony held in Beirut yesterday, Airways New Zealand and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Lebanon officially opened an advanced air traffic control (ATC) simulation facility.
Air traffic controllers in Lebanon will soon be training in a ‘real world’ air traffic environment using highly advanced simulation technology developed in New Zealand.
