You’re invited to our ATS training programme virtual info session 

We’d love you to join us at this virtual info session for Airways International’s Air Traffic Services (ATS) training programme, on Tuesday 24 February 2026 at 6pm.

At this free virtual event via Microsoft Teams, you’ll learn all about the training, the application and selection process, and what you can expect in the role of an air traffic controller and flight service officer. Make sure to have all your burning questions on hand – there will be an in-depth Q&A at the end.

Kelly de Lambert leads the Airways Training academy and is responsible for the design and delivery of all air traffic services training programmes. In her role, Kelly oversees the air traffic services training pathway for academy trainees, from curriculum design to assessment – with a strong focus on competency-based training, interactive learning resources and quality assurance.

Applications open for 2026/27

We are now accepting applications for training programmes commencing in 2026/27.

PLEASE NOTE: Applications for our course starting in April 2026 close at 5pm on Friday 27 February.

Any online assessments you receive following your application must be completed by midnight on Sunday 1 March 2026.

If you have applied and haven’t received an email from Airways Training Admin, please check your junk mail.

This training is for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents, and Australian citizens only. Students will complete New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved qualifications.
